MY THO-CHAU DOC – CAN THO EXIT PHU QUOC 4 DAYS 3 NIGHTS

DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1: MEKONG MY THO-BEN TRE- CHAU DOC (_/L/D)

7AM: Pick you up at your hotel or my office at 243 De Tham street

Leaving the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and start your trip to depart for My Tho, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda which sated back to the late 19^th century. Then boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands.

Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around country lane and seeing orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, folk song music which performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation.

Riding a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and treat yourself in the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business, visit honey-bee farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut candy workshop.

Have lunch at local restaurant. Break time.

Walking around the village, or perhaps going for a short bike ride around the village on the Island.

Then said goodbye to My Tho, the bus take you go to Chau Doc.

7PM: Have dinner and stay overnight in Chau Doc.

DAY 2: CHAU DOC CITY TOUR– TRA SU FOREST (B/L/D)

7AM: Have breakfast in hotel. Check out

Visit Ba Chua Xu Pagoda, Thoai Ngoc Hau Tomb, Tay An Co Tu Pagoda…

Go to Nha Bang district, then go to Tra Su Melaleuca Forest.

After about 1 km of the walk from the parking place to the starting point of Tra Su forest tour, a small pier, you will be picked up by “Tắc ráng” (a long, small motorboat that can run quite fast and carry 10-12 people), a very common means of transportation in the South of Vietnam. The boat will bring you through different exciting waterways.

You will first go through a spacious area with dirt roads of big and old cajuput on one side and a wide area covered with water and numerous kinds of trees on the other side. On the way, you can observe plenty of birds and storks finding snails, fish… for their living. A swamp area is a perfect place for hundreds of species, from plants, fish, snails, crabs, frogs, to aquatic species… which are a great source of food for the storks and birds living above.

The next part of the way is much narrower. These are small canals shaded with scabrous, twisted trees, mainly cajuputs and mangrove. Less sunshine means cooler and less effort to explore the biodiversity of the area.

Occasionally, some storks, egrets or some birds shake the water under their feet and head to the sky, which may surprise the tourists with utmost curiosity or sometimes urge them to come back again for a clearer observation

Visitors could also have many chances to see bird nest on the trees with great desity.

The car takes you to depart for Can Tho to the busiest land of Tay Do in the West of the Mekong Delta. Arriving in Can Tho, you check in the hotel.

7PM Have dinner on Can Tho Restaurant

DAY 03: CAN THO – CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – HCM ( B, L )

7:00 AM having breakfast, then motor boat for sightseeing the Cai Rang Floating Market which is the biggest and most colorful floating market in the Mekong Delta’s region.

After the Cai Rang market, Next, you will roam through the village, see a rice noodles making shop and then Get on the boat to eat pineapple.

Next, the group visited the traditional market on the shore of local people in the city center. After that, our group will go to visit Truc Lam Phuong Nam Zen Monastery.

12:00PM You have lunch at My Khanh restaurant. After lunch the time for rest, you can walk in the tourist village to explore interesting games of local people..

1:30PM: Then the group said goodbye to Can Tho city and depart to Rach Gia. Arrival Rach Gia about 5PM

Have dinner at the restaurant and stay overnight in Rach Gia

DAY 04: RACH GIA-BOAT TO PHU QUOC ISLAND ( B/_/_)

6:30AM: Have breakfast at hotel.

9:30AM: Takes you to harbors gate to complete Ticket entry procedures.

10AM: Boat departs for Phu Quoc Island around 1 p.m.,

End tour.
